This is clearly good news, but remember that the Bundy family was the last of the Nevada ranchers; all the others abandoning their farms and ranches in the face of Federal fascist bullying tactics.

The fact that a small number of demonstrators were willing to defend him is nice. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that the government is doing the same thing across the country, but in those cases the victims are not getting any attention.

This is not about some turtle. I don’t even think it is about fracking or drilling (cows and turtles have no problem with drilling rigs). Whatever it is about, it is clear that property rights mean very little anymore.

Get out while you still can.
