“China, the world’s largest economy, has set its eyes on Georgia, a traditional gateway between Asia and Europe, and its investment power could transform the poverty-stricken South Caucasus country’s prospects, some observers believe.
Driven by Georgia’s privileged access to the European Union, and strategic location on the Black Sea, Chinese investment interests run the gamut, and look set to expand.
They could even include a free-trade agreement.
Among the 22 mid-size to large Chinese companies registered in Georgia, a private company from the northwestern Chinese city of Urumqi is providing much of the locomotive power for such deals.”
I am sympathetic with many of Russia’s concerns regarding NATO advances into what Russia considers its regional sphere of interest. What would the USA think if Mexico or the Bahamas allied itself with anti-American interests around the world? However, the Russian heavy-handed approach has only driven Georgians and other neighbors away from Russia. No carrot and all stick is not a wise policy. It would seem that Russia is changing its aggressive policy in Georgia, but it may be too little too late.

Chinese Economy Projected to Overtake U.S. by 2032: http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2017/12/26/chinese-economy-projected-overtake-u-s-2032/
Since their population is larger than the USA’s by a billion I don’t find this particularly impressive even if it does end up happening, but I guess that the symbolism is more important in this case.

I think that he is mostly right, but I doubt anything much more serious than these tariffs will be done about it, and in the end, what would be the point? America’s real problem is it’s inner rot, not Chinese “predatory policies”, the Chinese could stop all of those policies today and they would still become the main World power by the end of the century because America is destroying itself from within.

This is one of the many things I like about the East Asians, they have zero tolerance for junkies.

Hopefully the various nations of East Asia will continue to improve their relations with each other, since as things stand now it will be the only civilized region in the World in 50-60 years time.

I don’t like this at all, the current law is at a Croatian law level of idiocy, hopefully they will change the self-defence laws to be closer to that of Texas soon.

While the USA is wasting trillions on “diversity”, China is investing trillions into infrastructure and industry, [sarcasm] I wonder which country has the brighter future? [sarcasm]
Indeed. The USSA will be a country of diverse poverty.
