I see a lot of people looking to blame Obama for rioting in Ferguson and around the country. I disagree that the problem is Obama, Holder, or some other scumbag. Clearly it would be better if we had responsible leaders who didn’t actively work to agitate and divide our country, but I don’t think that is the crux of the problem.
The real issue is decency.
For the last 30 years we have been taught that everything that is decent is at best boring and at worst wrong and perhaps even evil. Decency smacks of being judgmental. We can’t have any of that! So now we are surprised when we live in an indecent country. Islamic terrorists are militants. Looters are protesters. Criminals are victims of the system. Lies are truth. And the Constitution is dead while people call it a living document.
