Even though this story is about the NHS and not Obamacare, I still decided to post it to show what such systems lead to, namely a 14 year girl in terrible pain getting told that she will have to wait at least a year to get surgery, luckily in this case the parents managed to raise the money to have the operation done in a private medical facility in Turkey.

The UK has become beyond pathetic.

The UK is a country I will avoid even for tourism purposes, never mind emigrating there.
Yes, it is a pity. I don’t even feel comfortable going through Heathrow. The country is just disintegrating, but if you say anything you are a bigot.
I would take being called a bigot as a compliment, since in my mind “bigot” = not changing your mind due to group pressure.
The real issue is that in the modern UK you can be sent to jail for years just for stating facts.
Or worse. For some jail in the UK is a death sentence.
That is true, I think that in many ways the UK is already worse than Oceania in Orwell’s book 1984.
