Hello all. The argument about the Left-Right political axis is an old issue, but an important one. [Here is an article that I think is interesting: https://www.findafreecountry.info/is-the-left-more-stupid-or-more-dishonest/] This Left-Right axis was created by Marxists who used it to smear anyone who opposed them as nothing more than fascists; a total lie since Marxists and fascists have more in common than either like to admit.
However countering the Marxist Left-Right political axis has been difficult because it has become ubiquitous in political commentary resulting in the dominant argument that the perfect scheme is a careful and clever compromise between socialism and fascism (freedom seems to be left out or it is implied to be in the middle like the above representation).
Some Libertarians suggest that there are 2 possible axes to explain the political system. The first place the horizontal axis as representing governmental control of the economy, and the vertical axis representing government interference with personal liberty and autonomy.
I have never really liked this approach since there are few workable examples of highly controlling governments that control the economic lives of its citizens while at the same time allowing a great deal of individual liberty and autonomy at the personal level. Economic freedom and personal autonomy tend to go hand in hand — lose one and you lose the other.
The other example simply places personal and political freedom along one axis and measures the level of individual freedom compared to government control; this has always made more sense to me.
However, the following article provides a 2 axes model that actually makes sense: the horizontal axis represents an ideology’s view of government control, and the vertical axis represents the ideology’s view about the malleability of human nature; can human nature be easily changed or is it unchangeable.
All I can say is that any further explanation I made would be wasteful — you need to read this:

That’s it. I encourage you to read this article.
I don’t know whether it’s a bug or if WordPress changed something, but I can’t leave a reply on the older posts, for example the “China seen advancing its interests in the Republic of Georgia” one.
As for the left-right axis, in my view it is next to useless in today’s world, for example America’s modern “liberals” have nothing in common with actual liberals like Thomas Jefferson, Croatia’s “conservatives” are bigger communists than members of the Russian Communist Party, America’s “conservatives” have conserved nothing, “libertarians” only really care about legalizing drugs, so they can smoke marihuana all day, every day, etc., so all of those words are meaningless in most places today, their function today is akin to the function of the “Blue(s)” and “Green(s)” racing teams in the Byzantine Empire, keep the “peasants” occupied and fighting each other, while the government robs them blind, so I would rather people started thinking on a policy by policy basis, rather than just following whatever the supposed “liberal” or “conservative” policies are like they do now, but of course I don’t think that will happen (at least not in the remotely near future).
Hmmmm. I just did an update to the system. Maybe that will work?
No, they only places I can “leave a reply” are here and on the 3 “about” pages.
Hmmmmm. That sounds odd. It certainly isn’t anything I have done. I haven’t done anything in fact! I will try to explore the settings.
I think I fixed it. It was set to close down comments after 28 days of posting an article. I don’t know if that kicked in after the last upgrade of wordpress or what.
It works now, thank you!
I think we should really come up with a better way of communicating!
Anyway, since this is the only place where I can still “leave a reply” on this website, I will list some interesting things that happened in the World recently (but without links, since posting more than one link in a post seems to activate the spam filter):
1) 164 countries have agreed today in Marrakech to adhere to the idiotic UN Global Compact on Migration, countries which haven’t signed up to it include Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Chile, Romania, Bulgaria. Australia, the USA, Italy, Austria and Israel.
2) The Taiwanese people voted against legalizing same-sex “marriage” in a referendum.
3) The Swiss people voted against their own laws having precedence over international laws, so now they will get more idiotic EU laws and the things that come along with them.
4) Leftists across the Western World were and are crying about “Orban and his allies cementing control of the Hungarian news media”.
Well I think it is pretty clear to see who is out of touch. People are not running around in Yellow Vests because they like these globalists programs like the migration conference.
Yes, even though I have to say/write that these protests in France aren’t something I am excited about, because from what I can tell, the “yellow vests” want more socialism, they just want the rich French to pay for it instead of them.
History does suggest that these sorts of revolutions end up being controlled by communists. Even if they are a tiny minority they tend to be the better motivated and organized. But if it brings down the EU I am in favor. France will probably be taken over by Pol Pot wannabees, but the rest of Europe will at least be free to defend themselves if they so choose.
Yes, I think that the French are a lost cause, they have been brainwashed by leftists for over 200 years and consequently have the worst tax system in the Western world, the loss of their best men during the Napoleonic and later wars has had a giant dysgenic effect on them, they have at least 10 million third worlders in France, etc., the fact that France is the country with the biggest number of successful people leaving it is no coincidence.
As for the EU, yes, it would be nice if French idiocy brought it down.
There would be a certain ironic and even romantic element to that.

So, the Hungarian judiciary, media and education system are now in control of pro-Hungarian people, good, Hungary must be more or less the only Western country where this is the case.
When some people grumble you now you are doing the right thing.
Yes, I would start worrying if the EU and leftist media suddenly started praising Hungary and Poland.
* = “controlled by”, “not in control of” in the post above.

There seems to be no end to the stupidity coming out of Germany.
