I have been thinking about this because when I look at the survival and progress of people past and present, those people with a strong moral and religious basis are more likely to survive and thrive. Look at the Amish and the Ultra-Orthodox Jews; those two groups are doing better than those people who have abandoned religion or who have turned their religion into tepid woke tools for globalist elites.
For instance I consider myself a ‘libertarian’, but it is impossible to ignore the failure of that movement to be more than a debating society. I think a part of that failure is the amoral ideology of libertarianism that turns off a lot of people – me included. I want less government and more community, but that depends upon who is in that community. I do not want to live among amoral people, or worse immoral people, who happen to agree with me about the importance of a free market to some degree or another.
My thought has been to create a type of techno-Amish religion that focuses upon promoting traditional morality and behavior while removing negative ‘modern’ influences from the community without necessarily abandoning modern technology and without physically isolating the community. Part of this will be to encourage commerce among the members, as much as possible, perhaps by using cryptocurrency.
I can go on a bit; I have a proposed name – the Universal Church of Noah, and I have prepared a proposed Creed for the church, but to date it has just been a mental exercise on my part. I am really just curious if anyone is interested in thinking more about such a project, and perhaps after more thought and consideration moving it forward?
Does the West need a pro-Western religion or even a secular pro-Western life philosophy? Yes, but that isn’t the issue, the issue is how do you keep infiltrators and various degenerates out of such a movement?
