As I have often said, the West is doomed. Its just a matter of when everything totally collapses.
I had to replace a water heater for my AirBnBs in Tbilisi. I had just replaced it a few years ago, but the system was crap. The most expensive Italian made water heat you can buy, but before the warranty expired it started to have problems. The Italian company stopped honoring the warranty in Georgia, so I asked the technician to fix it. That was over a year ago. Finally, he gave up — he had been keeping it going with bubble gum and shoe laces, but it was no longer possible. The problem was just a $20 USD part but the Italians have stopped making and providing parts for their machines. I could not even get it if I flew into Italy. So I asked the technician to replace it. He showed me an Italian model and a German model! I told him he was insane — how are you going to fix them if the Europeans are no longer making parts for them. Nothing from Europe! Nothing!!!! I asked him for something from Turkey, and if nothing was available then China. The best choice from the start was the Turkish model, but these idiots in Georgia have swallowed the lies and propaganda about everything from Europe being better. SMH. Probably Georgia is doomed too. They have a choice to not commit suicide along with the rest of Europe, but they just cannot wrap their brain around it.
